The finished penguin can stand on its own and is based on the Gentoo species found in Sub-Antarctic islands. Print multiple copies to make a whole colony of them!
To complete this craft, you will need thick yarn in white or light grey and a DIY cardboard pom pom maker. Create one using the template shape provided from a scrap piece of heavy recycled cardboard.
Light card stock is recommended to print the penguin template on.
This craft is recommended for kids aged 8+, although younger kids could complete it with some adult help.
