Create a realistic 3D paper cicada with or without anatomy labels using this template.
This cicada is based on the North American Periodical Cicadas that emerge either every 13 or 17 years.
A line art version has been included so kids can colour their own (and make it rainbow if they want!).
This craft is recommended for kids 8+, although younger kids could do it with some help. It involves basic cutting, folding and gluing.
Card stock is recommended for sturdiness. For accurate folding, a scoring tool and cutting mat is recommended.
