Create a 3D paper doodlebug-on-a-leaf using this template. Each bug is unique because kids can decorate them with symmetrical patterns of their own design.
The doodlebug has a 3D appearance with raised, patterned back pieces and looks cool hanging on the wall.
Because doodle art requires patience and a steady hand, this craft is recommended for children 8 years old and up. To modify for younger kids you can omit the doodle leaf background or decorate it by plain coloring or painting instead.
